RED-DY SET GO
Asos trench coat in vinyl, Ann Taylor ankle pant with ruffle cuff and cold shoulder bow neck top, House of CB 'Paris' tan patent heels
Happy New Year! I can't believe it's 2018. I remember back when I thought 2010 was far away. Today I thought I'd share this all red look I wore for brunch yesterday. I think nothing is more powerful than red. Over the years I've added more and more red to my wardrobe. The color just makes a statement! I had to get my hands on this red vinyl trench from asos. The vinyl trend is really big right now. I've added this trench, a vinyl moto jacket, mini skirt and bucket bag to my wardrobe. I used to avoid vinyl, patent and pleather like the plague because I was afraid it would cheapen my look. Here some tips on how to add it to your wardrobe and I've link some of my favorite vinyl pieces for you to add to your closet in 2018!
1. Monochromatic. Pair your vinyl piece with other pieces in the same color family. Monochromatic looks are classic and can help you make a unique color, pattern or fabric more sophisticated.
2. Accessorize. The easiest way to add any trend into your wardrobe is through your accessories. No need to add a trench like this. You can start with a purse or shoes.
3. Neutrals. If red is too bright for you, try added vinyl pieces in black. Just swap out your current black pieces with the same pieces in vinyl! It'll add just the perfect fun touch.
