OFFICE INSPIRATION: OKL + WHITNEY PORT
After moving into my new place last month, I decided that I would focus on making my extra room an office. I have never had a dedicated office space before. In law school I studied in the library and after that I lived in places where it wasn't possible to separate a work area. My mom gave me a vintage mid century modern desk that will anchor the space. However, I am not sure how I want the space to feel. I keep debating between brights or neutrals, for example. Today, One Kings Lane featured Whitney Port on their site. They recently helped her redecorate her office which serves as the business hub for her Whitney Eve line. If you are a child of the 90s and teen of the 2000s, you remember Whitney from The Hills and The City. I always loved her easy, California style. Her office totally embodies that vibe. It also gives me major office inspiration. I'm loving the giant gallery wall. It feels like a grown-up version of a messy bulletin board. I also love her wingback desk chair. It looks so comfy.
